Meet the Friends 🌟
Everyone who lives in the Learning Lagoon — and what makes them special.
Ocho the Otter 🦦
A little otter with a springy curl and a million questions. When Ocho is happy he swims in perfect figure-eights — the shape of the number 8. That's how he got his name: ocho means "eight"! His mum counted eight loops the day he learned to swim.
- 💙 His heart-shaped nose turns extra teal when he's curious
- ⬆️ His curly tuft springs straight up when he's surprised
- 🤔 He taps his chin with his tail-tip when he's thinking hard
- 🛝 He enters every adventure with a belly slide
“Let's find out!”
Rojo the Red Octopus 🐙
Rojo (rojo means "red"!) tries everything with all eight arms at once — and gets it wonderfully wrong, every single time. Then he giggles, and tries again. Around Rojo, nobody is ever afraid of making a mistake.
- 📚 Each arm loves a different thing — stories, ABCs, numbers, colours, songs, manners, puzzles… and hugs
- 🎉 He celebrates with eight high-fives at the same time
- 🌀 When he's excited, all his arms curl up like party streamers
“Oops! Let's try again!”
Sunny ☀️
The sun of the Learning Lagoon — and the smile in our name. Sunny glows a little brighter every time a child learns something new. Look closely: Sunny is always watching, always smiling, and never, ever stops believing in you.
*glows warmly*
