Privacy Policy

The short version for busy parents: this website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, shows no ads, and asks children for nothing. The only personal information we ever receive is what a grown-up chooses to send us through the contact form — and we use it only to reply.

1. Who we are

LittleOcho ("we", "us") operates littleocho.com and the LittleOcho YouTube channel, making educational entertainment for children aged 1–12. For anything in this policy, contact us at hello@littleocho.com. We are the data controller for the information described below.

2. Children's privacy comes first

Our content is made for children, so we hold ourselves to the strictest standard: we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The website has no accounts, no comments, no chat, no tracking, and no advertising. Our contact form is intended for parents, guardians and business partners — not children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it promptly.

This approach is designed to satisfy the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the UK Age Appropriate Design Code, and the EU/UK GDPR's protections for children.

3. What we collect — and what we don't

4. YouTube videos on this site

Our videos are embedded using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which is designed not to store cookies or track viewers unless you play a video. When you press play, YouTube (Google) may process data as described in Google's privacy policy. Watching on YouTube itself is governed by YouTube's own terms and its "made for kids" protections.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live (EU/EEA, UK, California and elsewhere), you have rights over your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete, or object to our use of it, and the right to complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO). Because we keep so little, exercising these rights is usually as simple as emailing hello@littleocho.com — we will act on your request within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information with anyone, for any purpose (which also means there is nothing to opt out of under the California Consumer Privacy Act).

6. Where data is processed

Contact form messages are transmitted via Cloudflare's global network and delivered to our email inbox. Cloudflare participates in recognised data-transfer frameworks; no other processors are involved.

7. Changes to this policy

If we ever change what we collect (for example, adding a newsletter), we will update this page and the "last updated" date before the change takes effect.
